- (Make sure the Mini is on) It will proceed to look for the Google Home Mini a eventually connect saying 'Google Home Mini found'
- It will say 'Would you like to set up this device?' tap on 'Yes'
- It will then connect to the mini and say ' Connecting to Google Home Mini…'
- The Google Mini will make a jingle sound asking ' Did you hear the sound'
- Tap on 'Yes'
- It will say 'Help improve Google Home Mini' the clients choice if they want to , tap on 'No Thanks' or ' Yes, I'm in'
- It will say 'Where is this device', set it to the location where the clients wants it and then tap 'Next'
- It will say 'Connect to Wi-Fi' here you will tap on the top right corner on the 3 vertical dots.
- A drop down menu will show and read 'Submit feedback report' and 'Show MAC address' tap on ' Show MAC address'
- A window will pop on the center of your screen with the google Home mini's MAC address
Chromecast
First ensure that you have the Google Cast application, which can be found on the App Store and Google Play Store for both iOS and Android devices. Also, make sure that your Chromecast is plugged into an available HDMI port and powered via its included USB cable.
iOS
- Open the Settings application.
- Select Wi-Fi and connect to the broadcasted Chromecast SSID (e.g. Chromecast0256).
- Once connected, navigate to and open the Google Cast application.
- Follow the prompts until you see the screen that displays the MAC Address.

- Open your phone's device settings.

Amazon Echo
- Download Amazon Alexa app to a phone or computer (It's free for iOS, Android and Fire OS)
- Sign in with Amazon Account
- Connect to the wireless network transmitted by the Echo device.
- The wireless MAC address for Echo can be found at the bottom of the Echo Setup
screen in the Alexa app.
Fire Stick
- From the Home screen, press Menu.
- Select Settings. You should see the Wi-Fi MAC Address located in the Device Info section.
Apple TV

Nintendo DS
To obtain the MAC Address from a Nintendo DS, you must first insert a Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection compatible game and access the WFC Setup Utility. PlayStation 2
To find the MAC address of your Sony PlayStation 2 you will need the Network Adaptor connected to the PS2 and you will need the disc that came with the Network Adaptor. Then follow these steps:
- Power up the PlayStation 2 and load the Network Adaptor Startup Disc.
- Once it has loaded, select 'ISP Setup' and press X on your controller.
- The ISP Setup will begin to load, and you will be presented with a license agreement. Select Agree and press X to continue.
- For connection type, choose 'Local Area Network (LAN)' and press X to continue.
- Select 'Automatic Configuration' and press X to continue.
- At the connection test screen, select 'Advanced' and press X to continue.
- At the 'Advanced Broadband Settings' screen, make sure 'Automatic' is selected. While you are at this screen, make note of the MAC address at the bottom. Some of the PS2 games also have the ability to list your MAC address, but the above steps are the C&IT Help Desk's preferred way of finding the MAC.

To locate the MAC address of your Playstation 3 console:
- Start up your PlayStation 3 without a disk in the drive.
